Actual agenda:
* Jouni quickly reminded about the coming 1904.3 TF meeting.
Preference for telco vs f2f was 6:5. Dates 6/21-22 were
most popular. Jouni will announce the meeting this week
(either telco or f2f).
* Jouni updated the upcoming D1.0 review process. We’ll use
the webtool and excel sheet to do the comments. See
http://www.ieee1904.org/private/3/tf3_commentproc.shtml
Read the procedures info carefully. We’ll go into this
mode when the D1.0 gets out.
* Richard M. went quickly through the D1.0 status. He will
clean up the document from unnecessary OAM TLV text.
* Yasser went through the "Parameter flexibility contribution”
http://www.ieee1904.org/3/email/msg00493.html
Yasser will update and circulate the document based on the
input during the call. Yasser will also add more comments
why he thinks certain parameters are static etc.
* Discussion on whether the mapper Destination Ethernet link
addresses should be static or changeable during the active
flow. The consensus was towards these should be static
because otherwise there should be a way to somehow sync the
new addresses between endpoints (handoff type scenario).
which is not trivial.
* Discussion on packet length (.LenPack). Jouni thinks it is a
leftover from times when the RoE header did not have a
length field and should now be removed.
* Discussion on mapper and container add/removal on an active
RoE flow (RoE.Container). Changing the container definition
on fly has, according to Yasser, real CPRI-based use cases.
He says it is not trivial and for adding a new container
(i.e. an AxC) creating a new RoE flow is easier. Same for
removal.. i.e., removing a container is hard versus killing
entire RoE flow.
* Jouni brings up that there are clarifications to be made on
agnostic mapper synchronisation and will have an input
document for the next call.
* AP Yasser: update the "Parameter flexibility contribution”
document and distribute it.
* Continuing AP Richard M. to complete D1.0.
