Dear colleagues,
The third re-circulation ballot has closed on August 16th with no new comments and 100% approval. Therefore we are proceeding to Sponsor Ballot as planned. The draft is currently undergoing the Mandatory Editorial Coordination (MEC) by the IEEE publication editors. Once the MEC is complete and our Sponsor Ballot invitation period closes, we will start the Initial Sponsor ballot. The 1904 WG will not have any meetings until the initial ballot closes, which will be sometime in the end of September or early October.
Now, about the Sponsor Ballot Invitation. 16 people have signed up to date, but only 5 of them ever participated in the 1904.1 meetings. I urge everyone who participated in 1904.1 meetings to join the sponsor ballot group. The invitation closes on August 31, 2016, a week from today. The process to join the Sponsor Ballot group is shown here:
