[1904-ANWG] How would you like to have a fat checkbook and travel to exotic destinations?

Dear Colleagues,

 

Starting in January 2015, the IEEE 1904 ANWG will be responsible for maintaining its own budget and collecting registration fees.

This is a call for a volunteer to serve as IEEE 1904 WG Treasurer. The responsibilities of the Treasurer are:

 

a) Maintain a budget.

b) Control all funds into and out of the Working Group’s bank account.

c) Follow IEEE policies concerning standards meetings and finances.

d) Adhere to the IEEE Financial Operations Manual (http://www.ieee.org/documents/financial_ops_manual.pdf)

e) Being familiar with training materials available through IEEE Standards Development Online.

 

If there are no volunteers, I will ask the 1904 Executive Secretary to assume the additional responsibilities of Treasurer.
