Subscribing to the Reflector

To subscribe to the IEEE 1904 Working Group public reflector, please send an email containing the following text in the body of the message: subscribe stds-1904-wg YourFirstName YourLastName to ListServ@ieee.org

  1. Use of the e-mail subscribe instruction requires that you supply your First Name followed by your Last Name and will subscribe the e-mail address from which the e-mail is sourced from. The e-mail subscribe instruction does not support an e-mail address field, if you try to use an e-mail address in the Name fields it will be rejected. If you wish to subscribe an e-mail address other than the one which your e-mail is sourced from, for example the IEEE e-mail alias my.name@ieee.org, you will need to use the ListServ web interface. Use of this web interface will require the creation of a login but once this login has been created it will be used for all IEEE ListServ subscriptions you wish to manage.
  2. Only subscribers to the reflector have the ability to post messages to the reflector. If you wish to have the ability to post from an alternative e-mail address in addition to the address you have subscribed with, for example if you subscribe the IEEE alias my.name@ieee.org but want to be able to post from my.name@companyname.com, you will need to add a post-only e-mail address to the reflector via the ListServ web interface.
